the time in canada was great and im gonna missing ...... :(
was amazing there, so many diffrent impressions.. just great...

i arrived 3 days ago in toronto..
i stay with my aunt and oncle in theier house.. its great..
its so amazing.. ;)
on friday we picked wayne up from the airport.. he is my cousin... he is so awesome.. ;)
afterwards, we drove directly to the farm of my cousine, yolanda.. we went to the graduation from here daughter.. it was so cute.. and her daughter had a dress, done by her own she looked so pretty!

on saturday we (aunt, oncle, cousin) drove too the family from my oncle.. too a lake.. was so amazing to meet all them.. so lovely... just amazing.. :)
yolanda and her kidds drot in by night and were here over night.. because wayne had to go (today) on sunday.. wa had a BBQ in the garden and all sat around the fireplace.. was sooo nice..
after some friend drot in as well..

sunday morning.. stefanie (cousine) and her kids came too us to see oncle wayne.. i just say full house.. ;) but it was so fun.. and so lovely (again) and just amazing..

so guys you can see im in good hands here.. and ive an amaying time.. ;)even i miss vancouver so much especially some speciall parts.. ;) as well as my homestay family.. especially .. rachelle.. miss you so much my dear.. !!!

so.. see you guys back home.. (soon)

last day in vancouver

so today is my last day in vancouver. :(
it sucks..

Yesterday we went the last time out with class.. for dinner and a drink..
im gonna to miss them..
but i really hope to see them anytimes again.. :) and i know some of them i will see again ;)
in this point.. thanks to your guys for such funny time the last 3 month.. especially funny time during classes, even some of you were sleeping ;) or more intressted to eat a burger at 9am.. ;) hahaha such a crazy class.. :) great. :)

and now.. today i will meet some friends. .enjoy last evening together in vancouver..
and say goodbye to my family.. :( sucks..

hmm. and tomorrow at 5am im going to airport and at least to toronto..
im looking forward to see my aunt, oncle and the whole family..
but.. yeah you know
its like a smiling eye and a crying eye.. ;) ;(

Exam-Day

Exam is done :) great..
but sucks.. the first part was reading.. hmm.. the text was quite easy but the optional answers were pretty hard..
secondpart was writing, was ok.. was def. like cambridge especially the second part..
haha.. there we had 5 possibilities for the exercise. the first one was like.. "ohhh i dont understand this word, so lets go to the next one".. hmm next one was a job-application .. not really my topic, so.. third-one was an essay.. hmm why not..
and the 4th was reply to an advertisement,.. suckss.. and the last was an email to a friend about the "phantom of the opera" so i guess everybody has choosen the esay.. :)

used of english was the next part after a short break... it was like cassion.. no chance to catch there the right answers.. maybe i had luck..
listening was the last part.. was soso.. sometimes i understood,.. but sometimes not.. :)

the best of the day was .. the beer after.. :)

so in august i will have the result..

speaking exam

Yeah.. we had the speaking exam yesterday!
my partner was Flavia... who else.. ;)
it was good,.. especially was funny that the examinator was from the holland.. :) great..
she is able to speak 5 languages, not bad.. :)

the first few question were easy; like "do you live close to zurich" or "do you use the computer in your freetime and for what"..

later we had to compare and constrast two pictures. we were really glad, that we had luck with the pictures. When i hear what kind of pictures the other guys had,.. wow... damn it..

in part 3 we had to work with eatch other and to talk about bad and good sides of situation which the pictures have showen us.. for our luck we could finish our conclusion befor the time was finish.. wow.. :) great..

in the end we had again some questions like
"why young people disagree with the perons".. or... "are you listening to your friends or to your family, explain why!"

so the whole act was finish after 15-20 minutes..

i cant say anything bout the feeling of the test.
i hope we did well, or i guess we did well.. :) i guess we pass..

so now next tuesday,.. reading, writting, listening and last but not least used of english.

so you know now.. PLEASE!!! cross fingers again next tuesday.. :)

Seattle... we are going to rent a car in vancouver and drive to seattle for 2 1/2 days...
its again Flavia, Yannic and Me.. :) i know it will be awesome there.. and yesterday we met a girl at the UBC-Beach and she told us some "insider-tips" for seattle.. however, you are alowed to go in a club when you are 21... hmm yannic is 20 .. sadly.. but we know we wana have a lot of fun :)

Ucluelet..
I guess i fall in love... with a village... :) Ucluelet its an amazing place.. so quiet and just amazing to see. :) we wana go there from friday morning till monday morning..
to study and just to realx before the exam.. Again its Flavia, Yannic and the new one is Manuela... she is in the same class than Yannic... and also Me.. :)

anyway.. .i will leave vancouver and fly to toronto.. i guess one eye will be crying and the other is smiling.. because then i can see my aunte and my oncle .. and im really looking forwart for this.. i've seen them a long time ago.. .. and im happy to see my cousine..
i will leave vancouver 7:00 AM with the Westjet company.. :) and arrive in toronto at 2:23 PM..
then i stay from 18. jun 2009 till 27. jun 2009 in Toronto.. :) and im sooo happy about that.

Vancouver Island (we drove 1064km.. in 2 Days)

18.May is Victoriaday

we had free on monday, that was the reason why everybody had planes for that great weekend.. we too.. anton, flavia, yannic and I went to vancouver Island... it was an amazing weekend, with lot of fun and a lot of pondring.. in this place.. thanks guys for thise awesome weekend.!!

if i would write now every single detail, the blogg would be toooo big.. so just few spots from the weekend..

Should We Rent A Car?

Let's rent a car!! was the reaction from Anton... Nooo!! we are spontanious you know.. was the reaction from Flavia and me.. :) one day before we started our amazing trip, we called the "Budget Car Rental" to do a reservation for a car... after few minutes, we had our car... we thought so.. ;)

Friday afternoon : we arrived on the Island and we took a cap and drove to the Car-Rental.. hmm.. "yeah.. well you are not 25Years old..." right, i've never said that.... (!) "do you have an insurance to drive other cars?"...yes i think so .. "can i see that?" .. hmm.. no because i have it at home (if i have one) .. "well can you ask somebody in this office from the company?" .. well of course.. i mean we have now 5pm in canada, im pretty sure they are working now in switzerland..

why didnt they ask us on the phone? holy crap.... ok.. we couldnt rent the car, because we hadn't an insurance, she told us its possible, holy smoke. anyway, so 4 guys were now on the way to search a car.. :) now we could hope, because it was a loooong weekend and everybody went to the island.. so .. lets hope..

we were sooo lucky guys.. we've found our car in the next car rental office.. so lets start the tripp.. :) with a mini-van ...

Driving To Campbell-River
our plan was it, to drive to port-hardy for whalewatching. We started directly friday afterschool, took the ferry, rented the car, and drove.. our first aim was campbell-river and stay there for the night... A word and a blow... after 1.5Hours we reached Campell-River and searched a nice Motel. After few minutes we found a prety nice Motel and decided to stay there for the night.. :)

From North To West (10Hours)

Saturday morning, we started at 8:30 our trip to direction to Port-Hardy, our plan.. lets do whale watching in Telegraph Cove... thats a small fishervillage in the middle of nowhere. ;) We arrived there after 2Hours drive. We walked to the office and asked them if its possible to do whalewatching on this day... the answer was.."sorry we will start the season in 10days.." hmmmm thats sucks.. we are here NOW!! so.. we did the best, and went to the whale museum.. was also intressting.. than we stood in front of the car and had the discussion "whats now?"

as crazy we are, our plan.. .lets go to ucluelet... ok.. we have to drive back (3.5 hours) to nanaimo and from nanaimo maybe 3hours to ucluelet, but why not.. so we startet to drive...

on the way back to nanaimo we saw a bear.. he was sitting on the side of the road and watched the cars which were passing.. but not our car.. we stoped.. and i drove back so we could see him again, it was amazing.. see him sitting there and just eat his food.. he didnt care about us.. so we had the chance to took alot of pictures.. Awesome..

we had a similary scenarium again after Port-Alberni.. the bear was in the middle of the street and crossed the street, didnt care if there is a car coming (80km/h) or not.. just cross the street..

by the way.. on this roadtrip, is no signal for radios ... so everybody is sleeping in the car, we hadnt a cdplayer in the car.. just tapes. but where you wana find a tipe.. hmm.. lets search on in the next city.. so in port alberni we did a break.. and whats tanjas plan? haha search a tape or a portable cdplayer.. but wait... there are music-boxes.. why not.. so we bought musicboxes and put them in front of the car... so we could listen music.. ;) haha

Whale Watching

it was amazing,.. we read with a small boad (cadiac) to the sea.. amazing... we have seen alot of seals and sea-lions... (picturs follow) and at least we ve seen whales.. :) that was unbelievable.. the first whale came up few meters away from us... but he dived again and we could see him anymore.. :( but.. some minutes later we^ve seen a group of whales,.. they swam slowly in front of us, we could see them when they came up for breaving.. undiscribable.. later we went to a island, on the island where just seals.. amazing... and this sounds .. wow.. on the homeway we discovered again some whales.. gray-whales.. and the best was.. he jumped some meters away from us out of the water.. holy crap that was a bit scary.. its a huge animal and so powerful,.. but it was awesome to see that..

What Women Can Do When They Have To Go To The Washroom In The Middle Of The Sea....

anyway,.. do you know what woman can do, when she has to go to the washroom? in the middle of the sea? in a boot without washroom? hahaha.. ask the driver if he has a washroom and when the answer is "not realy my dear ive got just a bucket".. say yes.. .so did flavia.. we were watching the seals and she had to go to the washroom.. unbelievable.. and yes she was before we started the tripp.. :) so she asked the guid if its possible to go for pee.. haha.. and he said, "ive just a bucket".. but flavia was really happy for that.. :)

as you can see.. we had a lot of fun on that weekend.. :)

Prepare for stop on a highway
Imagine, you are driving a car on a highway. You haven’t any bad thoughts, and then is there a sign over the highway… „Prepare for stop“… because few meters away is a light-sign for the traffic. In the middle of the highway… Holy crap..

Turn right.
The light-sign on the street is red, BUT when you will turn right, you are allowed to turn right.. Even though your light is red. Ok when there should be an accident it’s your false but.. Just imagine..

Laundry just with cold water... but after in the dryer..
Unbelievable for European guys… the laundry here is just done with cold water.. !!
The funny point on the whole story, after the water they hang up the cloths and when they are dry, they put it in the dryer -> its getting smoother than.. What the hell??

Canucks fans (eg. busses)
I ve never seen such fans like the canucks fans in Canada…. Every canucks fan car has little flags on the car. You can see in every second window of a flat the canucks flag.
And the best.. When canucks has a game, the buses have that printed on the bus…

Put 2$ in a machine for a drink for 1.95$ and get 1 back
I love out mashing in school.. You wana have a drink which cost 1.95 put 2$ in and you get 1 dollar back..

More star bucks blents and 7/11
If you wana meet a friend, never choose the point.. „Lets meet at star bucks“ the chance that you can get lost is great, because in every corner from every second block is a star bucks. The same with 7-eleven or Tim Horton’s…

6m (20feets) away from the door to smoke
I’m sooo happy here, in every restaurant it is non-smoking area… so the smokers has to go out.. But .. Not just out, they have to go 6m away from the entrance, that’s sometimes really difficult. When you go away for 6meter than you are too close to the next door, or on the street ;)

Line up in front of the bus
I have never seen that in our country… when they are waiting on the bus, the line up!!
And everybody us the front-entrance.. Nobody try to get in in the back …
And they LINE UP..!!!

If you wana have fresh- o’saft
Haha.. Open the freezer, open the can, and put the frozen stoff in a flagon and addition some water and the osaft is finish… !!!!

Night bus..
You’re so tired from outgoing, your only wish, catch the night bus and ride home..
You are sitting in the bus and you are sooo tired… but whets the message from the driver.. „We wana take a break… because of smoking“ .. And the driver leave the bus and will smoke a cigarette… unbelievable

During the dinner,.. Just use a spoon and a fork.. A knife what’s that??

and in the last week, we will go again to the island to ucluelete.. because we wana go there for study.. and im seriously... we wana study in the morning and relax in the afternoon..
we wana go there with some other students from school and rent a flat... thats sooo funny with view to the sea.. :) thats amazing...
because we know, when we stay in school we wana get confused and thats not good...

Some of my friends asked me "how is school..." so i will tell you something about our school...
hmmm.. let me see, there is not alot what i can write about.
2 weeks ago our class grew.. :) we have 3 new students.... 1 is from germany, a mexican guy and a swissgirl, whom is pretty funny. :)

hmmm what else.. a week ago we had to give point to our teacher between 0 (bad) to 6 (good).
how is our feeling in class... sadly for the teacher, he reached just 3-4 points from everybody..
damn it!! he was surprised and shocked in the same time...
than we had to explain to him why, and whats our suggestion to change the classes...
since last monday he changed the whole classes and try to do what was our suggestion.. :)
thats good..

the last week we had the first time speeching-part.. wow. we were surprised what we can do wrong.. everybody told us, is not that hard to do this part.. but it was realy tricki..
the most of the lessons are preparing for the exam, nothing else. I miss that we cant talk about a actuelly topic sometimes..

hmm.. so i dont find some other topics about our class.. sadly for you guys...
but maybe you can watch the pics.. .i guess they say enough.. ;)

Cooking and Relaxxing

after a hard day in school (joke) we went to homestay from yannic...
first we relaxxed outside in the warm light of the sun, close to the pool... the dogs prefered to join us... it was funny,.. when you didn't have a spel on them they jumped over your legs... hmmm sometimes funny but sometimes ... hmm.. ;) haha
at 6pm we started with the cooking. Our idea was to cook a special swiss-meal so our desicion was "rösti und züri-gschnetzelts.." that was funny.. our first question, how we have to cook that.. :) ahhahahhaha so let's look in the internet..

the meal was great and the preperation was funy as you can see it on the pics.. ;)
during the dinner the parents asked us when we can come again.. or what we wana cook tomorrow.. that was a sign for us that the meal was good :)

after the hard work we enjoy and relaxed the jaccuzy.. :) that was great.
we sat in the hot-water with a both of champagner and enjoyed. :) it was awesome..

Grouse Mountain

today i was at Grouse Mountain with Flavia, Yannic and Anton...
it was so funny... first we cook the seabus to North-Vancouver.. and than.. what now? knowbody knew exactly witch bus we have to take.. but.. there were alot of guys with skidresses .. so let's folow them.. :) and we were right... the bus was the right one.. :) we were lucky guys.. :)

up the hill we had to wait 1hours till we were on the gondola... a long time.. in the top of the hill we walked around there and enjoyed the view.. it was great... but the weather was not that good.... after we took alot of pictures, we went to the restaurant for a short-food.. :) and went back down hill....

but it was amazing.. to enjoy the snow in the end of april..
when we took the gondola down hill we could enjoy an amazing view over whole vancouver.. awesome..

aquarium

it was a cloudy day..and again a sponious trip,... i wrote a message to flavia and yannic.."shall we go to the Aquarium???" both answer were "yes sounds good"... "let us meet at 14:30 at Waterfront-Station"... :) haha.. so we met us on the Waterfron-Station and walked trough the parc to the Aquarium.. the Aquarium is pretty cute.. but the most of animals dont have enough space, as usual in the most acuarium.. :(

Inline-Skating around Standlypark

on the Last weekend we took our new inlineskates with us and drove around the standlypark.. the whole trip tooks us 1:30 hours.. that was not so mutch... it was amazing, to drive along the sea... so good and after a special curve you have got a great view directly over the sea... amazing..... enjoy the pics..

Yes... since monday i've inlineskates..
and we were already blading. .:) it was amazing...
we drove apart along the standlypark and then trough the park, there we saw racoons 3meters away from us.. and some squirrel just 30cm away.. :) wowwww.
and we didnt have our cam with us.. :( hmmmm...

Biking-Tour in Standly Park

Today was a sunnyday...
so we went to the Standlypark, there we rented some bikes..
it was really funny.. the bike-shop has a lot of diffrent bikes, old-school-bikes, normal bikes, kidds-bikes.. it was amazing to see that.. ;)

we rented some bikes and drove through the park, along the sea...
it was so amazing... you are on the beach but in the back you can see the mountains with snow.
it was really awesome...

My class is really funny.. :) We are 8 Students in the class.
1 spaniard, 2 dutch guys, 2 japanese guys, 1 guy from venezuella and an other swiss girl and me.
Our teacher (andrew) is an englishman with a goooood black humor. When you will understand our teacher you have to understand his humor, thats not everytime easy but we try our best.. :)

This game was awesome :) unbelievable.
The whole stadium is screaming when your team is sprinting and try to shoot a goal. It was amazing… not comparable with the games in Switzerland, never ever.
A part of the show were the fights and just got a penaltitime from 2 Minutes… Thats impossible in our country. The vibes through the game are indescribable…

Yes... on friday we get the schedule for the next few weeks..
i will writ it in the "agende" from my google account.. but its a good schedule, cause if have the whole week school in the morning and free time in the afternoon.. thats soooo nice. ;)
so i can go and enjoy vancouver in the afternoon.. ;)

but.. i have the whole week in every lesson the same teacher, some other students
told me that this teacher is very boring.. i dont hope so....

but we will see it tomorrow....
now im in the first-class all other students from switzerland are in the advanced class..

Today i was in Capilano with Elena and Cyrill.. :)
it was sooo amazing... we went there by bus.

the bridge is 140m long and 70m high.
before you cross the bridge you walk trough a totem park.
on the other side of the bridge is "cliffhager walk" thats a way along the "cliff" and you can make nice pictures of the bridge or the river.. there is an other "trip" the "treetops Adventure"
this is s trip from tree to tree, and you are walking over hanging-bridges... its was really cool.

hey dears...

so the last two day werent realy intressting....
yesterday we had a senseless lesson... about cultur.. with 30 students or more.. it was in a big room.. and the teachter talked and talked and talked.. how intressting it is to study the cultur of the person beside you... ouhh yes it was so intressingt.
and we had to wrote who we are, and if we happy with us or not.. later we a teachter told us that this lesson was optional.. so we were all agree with eatch other that we wont go next week to this lesson...

after that we had lisa.. she is funny but talk soooo fast english and unclearly english..

today i had the whole day school by david.. it was funny, i came in the room and he said "good morning smilye".. it was a intressting and funny lesson.. the first lesson which was funny and intressing... everybody from the class get a topic and we had to write something about this. But we mayn't take the pencile from the paper away.. otherwise we had to write our last word so long as we knew a new sentence... so it was funny.. later we had to do the same with talking..

after this we had 3 hours gramma.. :( sucks...
about modal-verbs... oh my good... it was intressting to.. but sometimes difficult.
cause sometimes when you writing a formal letter or something like this you need to use a word which you wont need when you are speakiing... so it was sometimes really difficult..

tomorrow its the last schoolday for this weeks.. we'r really happy about this ;)
the most of our class will go to the Mountains. But Elena, Cyrill and me not.. we will go when its better weather and warmer.. i think we will dedect vancouver city.. or vancouver downtown..
and when its sunny then we'll go out with the boat or something like this. :)

Yes.. We do it! Today we went to the office of activities and buy the last tickets for the hockey match, before the playoffs are starting.

The Game is on April 02. It will be soooo interesting. But it’s not normally here, for this tickets we had to pay $58. Our Guide from yesterday told us, if you wana see a playoff game so you have to pay between $150 and $250. Just for one game! We did pay the same price in Switzerland for the WM-Games for 2 Games per day. That’s not normally here.

Today was funny... (When I don’t think about the post before)
The first lesson was boring us. It was about technology. … The first question.. “When did you think was the internet born?” damn.. This was the first question in my lap…
After me little discussion we had to answer different questions but it was easy. Because you had 4 answers and 3 of them were soooo senseless… so it was really boring..
After that we had a nice teacher.. David Provo. .. Normally in the school when you are 10 minutes to late.. the teacher don’t let you in, you have to wait outside till the next lesson and you have a market… but he will let you in but you have to do pushups for every missing minute… it’s a drill-instructor.. ;) He speaks really fast English but explain every word.. And in his lesson you have to talk..

Now since today I have a new name… “Smiley”… cause he means that I ‘m always smiling and he found this sooo nice…

Second Day- Second Test

Today we had the test for the Cambridge...
Everybody did the test for the advanced... cause when it’s not good enough you are automatically in the class for the first course..
The test was really crazy and our teacher forgot an important part of the test. After the school the teacher came to us and let us knows in if we were good enough or not. For the advanced test we need 40% and I had 36%. Damn!! So I’m in the first class. L Now we must do a new test, to test our level… sucks…
But we are not agree with this test, cause the lady in Switzerland told us that we had a test first to look our level and after 3 weeks we must make this test again, and then we will have the result in which class we are… so it’s not the same as now… L we will do this new test now but we aren’t agree with this and so we go to the lady tomorrow and talk about this. I mean in 3 weeks I will get this missing 4% easy.. Damn….

First day in School.

so now i try my first post in english... ;)
today was the first "Schoolday". First we had a Test to look what Level do we have.
Then the Teacher told us alot of the School, after that a Woman told us alooooot about School and Activities. ;) that was intressting. :)
in the ending she ask us for a City-Tour.

in afternoon we start the Tour. It was very funny.
First to the False-Creek (watch my cam) and watched some Market. After the Market we went to the Standly-Park and after this to the Lynn Canyon.

So nun noch kurz in deutsch.... :)
der erste Schultag war ganz ok. zuerst hatten wir einen Test zum feststellen, welches Englisch-Niveau wir haben. anschliessend haben 2 Lehrer von der Schule einiges erzählt.
Am Nachmittag gingen wir auf eine Stadtbesichtigung. (siehe Link)

leider macht das Wetter zurzeit nicht wirklich mit. :( aber auch nid soooo schlecht.

ach ja es sind ca 30 neulinge an der Schule und 8 davon sind deutsch-schweizer. oh my good.. :)
aber wir waren heute in der MIttagspause 4 Schweizer und haben nur englisch gesprochen.

so ich leg mich jetzt kurz hin. bis es was zu essen gibt.

Ach ja der Mann mit der blauen Frisur ist unser Begleiter Tom. Er wird uns auf fast allen Aktivitäten begleiten. What a funny Guy....

Gastfamilie

Die Gastfamilie wohnt am Rande von China-Town.
man läuft 3-5Minuten uns ist mittendrin im china-Getto...

Die Kidds sind cool und sprechen gut Englisch.
die Eltern leider nicht, sie sprechen englisch aber mit sehr schwerem Akzent.

morgen muss ich zur Schule. Die mutter hat mir nen Plan aufgeschrieben wo ich die Schule finde. Keine Ahnung ob das funktioniert. 1x- quer durch Vancouver. Aber kein Problem ist nur ca. 5-6 Mal das Tram / Bus wechseln.

Nach einem erneuten 5H langem Flug sind wir angekommen.
Auf unsere Koffer wartend haben wir alle unsere abhol-Personen schon entdeckt.

Michael und ich hatten unseren auch gleich entdeckt. Der dritte von der EF-School erschien auch auf der Stelle und somit ging es los.

Michael wurde von einem anderen Mitarbeiter gefahren , da er ne andere Richtung hatte.

Im Auto hatten wir ziemilch schnell den Verdacht, dass unser Fahrer keine Ahnung hat, wohin er fahren muss. wir hatten Recht.
Nach langem Suchen fand er die Strasse und das Haus aber trotzdem.

Hallo

eben in Vancouver angekommen schreibe ich meinen ersten Eintrag von hier.. (Fehler dürft ihr alle behalten!!)

Einreiseformular... warum das auch noch..
Landeanflug Toronto; aufeinmal springen die Stuardessen herum wie aufgescheuchte Hühner. Sie haben das Einreiseformular vergessen. Dieses haben sie dennoch schnell allen im Flugzeug verteilt. Nun galt es dieses Auszufüllen..... na Super... gerade war ich fertig kam von einer Sitzreihe hintermir ein Scheues stupsen. "sorry, the "homeAdress" is this the Adress from Canada or Switzerland?" ehrlich gesagt hatte ich keine Ahnung und meinte dennoch "natürlich die von der Schweiz..." zum Glück hatte ich recht.
Somit das erste Problem überstanden.

Koffer holen, Koffer bringen
nun wurden wir aufmerksam gemacht aufzupassen, es wird ein kurzfilm von Toronto-Airport gezeigt. Allerdings wurde da echt so schnell gesprochen, keine Ahnung mehr wo jetzt der Koffer ist und wo der hin muss. Beim Aussteigen fragte ich die Person hinter mir, Simone, ob sie in Toronto bleibt. Da kam die Antwort "neee, muss den Koffer holen und weiter nach Vancouver". Das war ne tolle Nachricht. Somit beschlossen wir dies gemeinsam zu versuchen ;)

Gleich beim Aussteigen vom Flugzeug war ne Passkontrolle. Diese überstanden folgten wir fleissig der "Kanadischen-Flagge"... Doch dann stand wieder ein Schalter für die Passkontrolle.
warum denn noch eine? nun gut. Simone und ich suchten einen freundlichen Herrn aus. Jedoch mussten wir beide an verschiedene. Endlich am Schlater stellte der Herr dahinter schon doofe fragen. sah wie folgt aus; (kommentar in klammern wurden nur gedacht)

was machen sie in Kanada...
- Na studieren, (steht ja auf den Formular -> wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil)

was?
- Englisch,

welche Schule
- EF School..

hast du erlaubnis
- (was will der?..... die ist im koffer und der dort untern auf dem Band) ja.

(mist...... gib ihm ein schreiben auf dem steht, wie meine Gastfamilie heisst... )

- ja? tatsächlich....

ich spreche kein deutsch
(schulter zucken.... nkann ich ja nix führ ) n

mürrisch wird dann mein Papier gekennzeichnet und abgestempelt....

Simone wartete schon ungeduldig... gemeinsam wollten wir nun zur gepäckausgabe..
beide wollten abbiegen, da meinte ein angestellter, nix da... du da lang du da lang.....
somit ging ich alleine zur Ausgabe. Simone kam 10Minuten später nach. Sie musste das ganze Frage-Antwort - Spiel machen... haha.

somit holten wir unsere Koffer. doch nun wohin mit diesen??
fleissig liefen wir wieder den Kanada Flaggen nach. 2 Minuten später gesellte sich Rebecca zu uns und meinte "ihr geht weiter? wir waren doch im Flugzeug in der Nähe von einander.."
somit waren wir nun zu 3. :) Die Aufgabestelle fanden wir dann nach einem endlos-Marsch durch dass Flughafengebäude auch.

Handgepäckkontrolle
erneutn mussten wir alle unser Handgepäck präsentieren und fast in alle kleinen Details zerlegen. :( in dieser Zeit ist ein Mädel zu uns gestossen. Sandra schloss sich kurzenhand an. Somit machten wir nun die Duty-Free-Zone in Toronto unsicher. Da wir leider Totmüde waren setzten wir uns bald zu unserem Gate.

Einsteigen
Endlich durften wir in unser Flugzeug einsteigen. Neben mir tauchte einer mit einem Schweizerpass auf und quatschte mich an. Das war der Michael und somit der 5 in unserem Bunde. Die Plätze im Flugzeug waren gigantischverteilt. Simone 46(gang), ich 47(fenster) Michael 48(gang), Rebecca 49(fenster) und Sandra 50 (gang). Spontan haben sich die anderen Passagiere überzeugen lassen, die Plätze zutauschen....
Somit war unsere 5H Flug gerettet.

Die Gastfamilie und der Flug

Heute kamen die ersten Angaben über die Gastfamilie..

Ramona und Rolando leben mit ihren Kindern Rachelle(1992) und Shenna (1997) im Süden Vancouvers. In der Freizeit machen Maleriado's gerne Ausflüge zum Schwimmen, Picknicken oder Campen.

Mit den ÖV sind es etwa 30min zur EF Schule.

Am 22.03.09 um 10:10Uhr wird meine Reise starten.
Nach einer Zwischenlandung in Toronto (an 14:25 / ab 16:10) werde ich Vancouver um 18:15 erreichen (Ortszeit).

Der Aufenthalt endet am 27.06.09. Abflug Toronto 18:15 und Ankunft in Zürich 28.06.09 08:05.
